The Challenge

MMT Digital was tasked with implementing a DevOps culture at VOXI, Vodafone’s youth mobile network. ​

In order to be able to deliver first-class digital experiences to customers as quickly as possible, our brief was to decrease the time taken to release new features on the website and cultivate a culture of innovation.

What We Did

We altered the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment process by migrating from Jenkins to Azure DevOps to facilitate a more mature, maintainable and user-friendly build and release process.​

​By removing the dependency on an external release team, we transformed the VOXI development team into a self-sufficient unit by giving them the ability to build and deploy their own code and release features to the live website. ​​

We developed a GIT branching strategy to enable the VOXI team to deploy smaller features to production with confidence – giving them the ability to fix and release live bugs within one hour of an issue being raised.
