With a short deadline of just six weeks it was important to map out what was achievable in the time we had. Once this was defined, we worked with the branding provided to develop a clear and concise design with an excellent user experience across all devices. We used the content management system Drupal 8 so that we could utilise the out of the box feature set and due to the ease of scalability and easy content authoring that it provides.
The platform was integrated with YouTube Live to stream weekly Q & A sessions which are then made available as recordings for the user to view at any time. Users also have the ability to download accompanying documents for each tutorial.
To avoid a static learning platform we implemented a question and answer feature, giving users the ability to interact with each other as well as the course tutor, globally renowned marketing professor, Mark Ritson.
In terms of analytics, the CMS includes an activity log which records information on variables such as documents downloaded and videos played, giving Centaur Media insight into a number of valuable statistics.
