We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Owner to support our Technical Service Delivery and project teams. A key responsibility for the role is to work closely with our client Product Owners in ensuring effective delivery of value. You’ll be developing partnerships with our clients and driving agile, cross functional teams whilst also taking broader ownership of account governance in assisting Technical Account Leads and support of Technical Product Owners on other teams. When you join our TPO team, you will be: Responsible for the creation, review and refinement of User Stories and ensuring that development teams have a refined backlog that adheres to our quality standards and the Definition Of Ready (DOR) Supporting and coaching other TPOs in the delivery of their backlogs. Supporting and coaching the client product owner and wider stakeholders in accordance to Scrum practices and MMT Digital standards. Performing governance duties and associated actions during Project Health check meetings to ensure that the risk management on the project is effective and supporting the PM in the management of technical risks to the project. Responsible for the consideration of budget, agreed scope and time during the development of the product, with a focus on lean product development. Reviewing and coaching TPOs on the considerations of budget, scope and time in regard to their product development. Working with the MMT Digital Project Manager to manage client expectations on their projects in order to ensure the client is satisfied and that the project is delivered on budget. De-risking project delivery by facilitating product delivery burndown sessions known as “Landing the plane” Liaising with the UX team to ensure lean creative and UX is provided to the teams when required in order to help with the generation of user stories. Working with the development team and ensure the technical direction is aligned to the product vision. Responsible for escalating team velocity, resourcing and competency issues or concerns. Expected to liaise with Technical Account Leads and department heads regarding quality and performance of the product delivery. Advocating and developing MMT Digital best practices Coordinating the professional development of TPOs Working with the Project Manager to understand the commercial performance of their accounts. Identifying and escalating account growth opportunities to the Account Leads What you'll bring In order to flourish in this role, you’ll need the following: Previous experience in the Product Owner role or equivalent Experience of product delivery for large scale projects Experience delivering multiple concurrent product backlogs Experience building long term client relationships with wider stakeholder management Proven experience with scaled Agile teams (Nexus, SAFe, Less, Scaled Scrum etc) Extensive knowledge and experience in retail and supply chain. Proven experience in the supply chain governance & assurance and able to demonstrate recent experience in the delivery of complex, multi-layered projects in retail and/or supply chains It would also be great (but not essential) if you have: Preferably Advance Scrum Product Owner certificate or equivalent Previous experience line-managing team members Our offices in London, Leeds and Uppingham have reopened fully, but should you prefer to work from home or combine remote and office work, you are welcome to!
