Consultancy

Digital consultancy is all about determining the most appropriate direction for a digital project; more specifically to identify the direction that will best support a suitable return on investment. The case studies below demonstrate how we have helped clients across a range of industries do just that.

Quote from Steve Connolly, Editorial Director, Hodder Education

Delivery of an Invitation To Tender/RFP (Octopus Publishing Group)

For many clients, the quest for a good digital product supplier will begin with an Invitation to Tender (ITT) or Request for Proposal (RFP), which will typically be distributed to a number of preferred vendors. These vendors will align their responses (as closely as is possible) with the aims and objectives, and business challenge outlined within the document they have received.

It is therefore the case that the quality and relevance of submissions retrieved from potential vendors will inevitably be a function of the quality of the ITT or RFP supplied; in fact the ability of that document to accurately express the underlying business challenge, and the requirements that a vendor would be expected to meet will be critical in enabling the retrieval of responses that are relevant to the task in hand.

It is with this in mind that the consultancy arm of MMT Digital undertook to work with the Octopus Publishing Group on a project that called for the development of an ITT to support the expansion of the Miller’s Antiques & Collectables brand into the realms of the digital marketplace. Dynamic Learning: Digital product development (Hodder Education)

Hodder Education, the UK's second largest provider of textbooks to secondary schools, and part of the Hachette Livre publishing group were looking to radically redefine their digital offering to the market place.

The challenge was to leapfrog the competition and produce a market-beating solution that was scalable to all subjects that were offered for the new A-Level and GCSE syllabuses. To see the full story click here (PDF, 202KB) >>

Email marketing solution & engaging with the consumer (Hodder & Stoughton)

Keeping or building a relationship with a customer is all about creating an appropriate level of engagement. Email marketing increasingly offers businesses an opportunity to engage and build long lasting relationships with specific segments, sub-segments and even individuals within their audience. But good email marketing requires a range of skills, diligence and an appropriate platform to support deployment and analysis. With this in mind, we recently worked on the development of a bespoke email marketing solution with Hodder & Stoughton. To read all about it, click here (PDF, 272KB) >>

Induction Training delivery (Southampton NHS Trust)

To make sure that you are going to get what you want, when you want it, we spend time at the beginning of every project and campaign specifying exactly what is going to be developed, how it is going to be produced and when it will be delivered. All of this information is then available to both your teams and our teams throughout the project. Everything is clear and above board building trust all the way through the project.
