Yakult SMS Campaign
As part of a campaign to promote healthy eating, Yakult, the creator of the probiotic drink, contracted MMT Digital to manage an SMS campaign, (the nature of SMS functionality providing an opportunity to collate large quantities of accurate consumer data in a cost effective manner).
Packs of Yakult including information regarding the healthy eating campaign were dispatched nationwide, with consumers being directed to text their name and address to a specified number to request a copy of a book on healthy eating. MMT Digital planned the management of the SMS campaign, so that the retrieval of data was carried out in a manner which ensured that the consumer information could be effectively used and analysed. Texts sent to the specified number were posted to an MMT Digital script developed in .NET, which then formatted the data in each text in a way that would leave addresses easy to mail merge, whilst also promoting further analysis. The formatted data was then appended to a database and delivered to Yakult for use in their campaign.
