Diploma in Digital Applications (DiDA) CD-ROMs

Market-leading educational publisher Hodder Headline commissioned MMT Digital to produce CD-ROMs to accompany their series of textbooks supporting the new Diploma in Digital Applications (or DiDA) qualification. The format of the DiDA modules, which includes an entirely paperless assessment process, made the development of an appropriate digital resource essential - the finished application needed to present a large quantity of digital resources in a way that was aligned with the format of the course and the presentation of the textbook material.
 
MMT Digital created a framework, applied to all CD-ROMs in the series, which facilitates the effective presentation of digital tools and makes the process of locating different types of resources intuitive, whilst also ensuring that it is possible for users to link the material back to the relevant chapter of the textbook. The CD-ROM incorporates a password protected area containing tools for teachers, such as lesson plans and proposed homework exercises, as well.

In view of the fact that the DiDA qualification is brand new, we also developed a help module and animated 'how to' tutorials which provide users with a step-by-step introduction to getting the most out of the application.
