25.11.08 - Digital Ribbon cut by local MP

Last Friday saw the official opening of our new offices in Uppingham by our local MP and the Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, Alan Duncan. Having performed the traditional cutting of the Ribbon on the way into the office he was then asked to perform a slightly less conventional cutting of the Digital Ribbon. This was a test of general knowledge and memory as he had to pull together various bits and pieces of information to create a Username and Password to unlock the network.

After many jokes at the expense of our Bank Manager (congratulations on retaining that smile Stuart) and during the aftermath of a buffet lunch the question was posited as to how were we coping with the Recession and was it a good idea to be moving into new offices whilst the largest financial crisis the world has seen for 60 years appears to be upon us.

The short answer to this question was 'Yes'. In short we feel that the upcoming recession will provide opportunities for digital businesses as it is measurable and cost-effective when applied to other media which are available and that the underlying area of digital is growing.

17.11.08 - Growth but can it continue?

Growth but can it continue? We have recently appeared in the New Media Age report on the Top 100 largest Interactive Marketing, Designs & Build and Technical Agencies in the UK. As of yet we are not actually in that category of the largest 100, although we aim to be within the next couple of years, and we are now the largest listed Agency in the East Midlands.

It seems like a strange time to try and grow a business with the financial world apparently collapsing around us but we see this as an opportunity for digital with its greater accountability and its targeted approach. It allows us to demonstrate to clients how we can deliver greater return on their investment.

To underpin our growth plans for the future we have very recently moved into new offices (as we were bursting at the seams in the old place) and on Friday of this week they will be officially opened by our local MP Alan Duncan.

15.07.08 - Books as far as the eye can see

Hodder EducationThe last few months have been spent finalising a major e-Commece solution for Hodder Education to redesign and drive forwards their core online purchasing platform for their market offering to schools, colleges, higher education, doctors and the home learning market.

Using RearView Enterprise to power the Content Management side of the site means that the vast majority of content can be upadated by the client with the rest of it being driven from existing backend systems which have been integrated seamlessly into the site.

Why not have a look (and then buy something!).
